Warranty

Betatronix warrants all goods sold by it to be free from defects in material or workmanship and will perform in full accordance with applicable specifications when normally used. The limit of liability under this warranty is at Betatronix's option to repair or replace any product or part thereof which shall within two years of delivery be returned by the purchaser to Betatronix, at 125 Comac Street, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 and shall, as determined by examination by Betatronix, prove defective in material and or workmanship. Warranty returns must first be authorized in writing by Betatronix. Disassembly of product by any person other than an authorized representative of Betatronix voids the warranty in its entirety. Products sold by Betatronix shall not be considered defective or non-conforming to the Buyers order if they (a) satisfactorily fulfill the performance requirements that were (i) provided by the Buyer to Betatronix or (ii) as published in the Sellers product specification literature or (b) or in accordance with samples approved by the buyer. This warranty does not apply to any products or parts thereof which have been subject to accident, negligence, alternation, abuse or misuse. Betatronix reserves the right to make changes to any of its products without incurring any obligation to make the same changes on previously delivered products.

Please contact Betatronix Customer Service department for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number for all items requiring service, regardless of warranty status. The RMA number may be requested either by phone or over the internet. Please provide a point of contact; name and phone number on the RMA in case more information is required.

All units being returned for repair must be shipped with the shipping charges prepaid. Items returned from outside of the United States must include two (2) copies (one copy placed within the shipping container and one copy affixed to the outside of the shipping container) of a pro forma invoice which states "U.S. Manufactured goods being returned for repair ". Omission of this statement could result in charges for duties and taxes, which will be billed back to the customer. Product that is not packaged properly will be considered mishandled and therefore out of warranty. Items subject to "in-warranty repair" will be returned to the customer at no charge. The customer will be responsible for return shipping charges for items that are out of warranty or that have been mishandled in addition to the evaluation and repair charges as outlined below. For units returned and subsequently found to have no defects, an evaluation fee will be charged for any testing and processing regardless of warranty status.

Warranty repairs will be made at no cost to the customer. Units out of warranty or those, which have been mishandled, will require written approval from the customer authorizing the repair charges prior to the repair being completed. The evaluation charge for an out of warranty or mishandled unit is $150. Additional charges for time and materials will be billed at our standard rate ($150 per hour) for service and spare parts at list price. Betatronix will provide an estimate for the repair prior to starting work. If the customer decides against repairing the unit based on the cost estimate or the unit is determined to be beyond economical repair the above specified evaluation fee will be charged. This evaluation fee may be applied toward the procurement of a replacement part if the customer so desires.

The typical time to turn around a repair is 30 days after receipt of the unit at Betatronix.
